ASSOCIATE VOICE TEACHER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTOR
Manna Nichols-Wong is an Actor, Singer, Teacher, and Vocologist. Performing credits include various Broadway, National Tours, Regional, Off-Broadway, Concert and Symphony, Film, and Voiceover work. She teaches private voice, beginning piano, and music theory/sight-reading from her studio in Queens, as well as via Zoom. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Voice at NYU Tisch School of the Arts New Studio on Broadway.
Manna specializes in helping clients find more vocal ease and connect acting through storytelling. Using an individualized approach for each person, she applies evidence-based methods and stays current with emerging vocology research. Her studio comprises professional adult clients, adolescent, and younger voices.
Education: Master of Music in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University; Bachelor of Music in K-12 Music Education, Choral Conducting Emphasis from Western Michigan University; SVI Trained Vocologist from University of Utah, PAVA Recognized Vocologist; Estill Level 1 Figures for Voice. She volunteers on the Board of Directors for OCUNYC, sits on the Inclusivity Advisory Committee for The Lexington Theatre Company, and is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA unions.
